Does O'o Hawaii really support Animal Rights?

Hawaii is one of the few states in the US that has animal rights laws that protect both domestic and wild animals. The state has a number of animal cruelty laws on the books, including a law that prohibits convicted animal abusers from owning pets. Hawaii also has a felony law that punishes those who knowingly or recklessly engage in animal fighting with a jail sentence and/or a fine. In addition, the state has a law that prohibits the sale or possession of shark fins.
