Is Nest really LGBTQ friendly?
Nest is owned by Alphabet
Alphabet's Google has achieved a perfect score on the most recent LGBTQ+ Corporate Equality Index report by the Human Rights Campaign organization. This is a great achievement for such a large employer and its over 150k global employees. Having said that, while the Corporate Equality Index purports to measure corporations' "public commitment to the LGBTQ community.", HRC's methodology excludes political donations. Alphabet's perfect HRC score is penalized given its sizable contributions to politicians that have been promoting anti LGBTQ+ laws across several states.
