Does Johnson & Johnson really support Animal Rights?

http://jnj.com

Johnson & Johnson has not obtained any cruelty-free certification from organizations like PETA or Leaping Bunny. While the company claims to be cruelty-free, it also admits to perform testing on animals in the same sentence. From J&J's own disclosure: "We do NOT conduct animal testing on any of our cosmetic products except in the rare situation where governments or laws require it." Unfortunately, such "rare situations" where governments require testing on animals imply the company is NOT cruelty-free by definition.
