Does Glenkinchie Whisky really support Women's rights?

Glenkinchie Whisky is owned by Diageo

Diageo's position on women's rights is poor because the company does not support the full realization of women's rights. Diageo has failed to sign the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles, which commits companies to taking a number of steps to support the empowerment of women in the workplace and beyond. Additionally, Diageo has been criticized for its lack of gender diversity on its board of directors. In 2017, just 14 percent of Diageo's board members were women, and the company has failed to make meaningful progress in increasing that number.
