Some of the ways in which Georgetown is working to become more sustainable include: making buildings more energy-efficient, installing solar panels, composting food waste, and using recycled materials in construction projects. Georgetown's efforts to become more sustainable are not only good for the environment, but also save the University money in energy costs.
