Not only Procter & Gamble achieved a perfect score in the 2021 Corporate Equality Index by Human Rights Campaign, but P&G is also one of 12 founding members of the HRC itself. Procter & Gamble has also been partnering with several other organizations promoting LGBTQ+ awareness and inclusion, has spoken publicly and loudly against legislation initiatives trying to restrict rights for LGBTQ+ individuals, and has also been on the forefront of LGBTQ+-inclusive marketing across several of its owned brands.
